Learn how to setup Tracks domain registration (Whois)
What it does: Tracks domain registration (Whois) and expiration to prevent accidental downtime.
Add a domain
- Open Domain names → Add domain.
- Enter the domain, e.g.,
example.com. The system fetches Whois + SSL automatically. - Set expiry alerts (e.g., 30/14/7 days before).
Reading the list
- Whois: time left until domain renewal (e.g., 11 months).
- SSL: time left until certificate expiration (e.g., 3 months).
- Quick actions: open Whois, open site, view history, export, filter.
Tips
- Renew domains at least 30 days before expiration; some ccTLDs have stricter windows.
- Automate certificate renewal (e.g., Let’s Encrypt) and monitor post-renewal status.
Troubleshooting
- “Not registered” means the domain currently has no active registration — double-check spelling/TLD.
