What it does: Detects changes in DNS records (A/AAAA/CNAME/MX/TXT, etc.) and alerts when values differ from what you expect.
Quick setup
- Go to DNS monitors → Create monitor.
- Enter the domain (e.g.,
example.com) and select record type(s). - Specify the expected value (IP, hostname, TXT content) or lock the current value.
- Set interval and alert contacts, then save.

Tips
- Monitor both
example.comandwww.example.comif both resolve. - Use a slightly longer interval for DNS due to propagation delays.
